Following all the rumors until today, there had been several rumors regarding when the highly anticipated Apple iPhone 5 and iPad Mini will be released. Several analysts and news outlets began pouring in similar information and details regarding the launch dates of the devices.
Ming-Chi Kuo from the KGI Securities, offered expectations on the launch of the devices and believed those devices will make their debut in September. Personally I have no idea if these sources are reliable or not. However, they are reported by established sources like 'The Wall Street Journal' and 'Reuters'. It seems that the new gadgets is coming closer and closer to fit into our pockets!

A German court recently ruled Samsung not going to be able to sell its Galaxy Tab 7.7 in the entire European Union which consists of 27 Member States. The court making this decision is base on the ban of Galaxy Tab 10.1 earlier.

According to CNET, Samsung is 'disappointed' with the court's decision.
Another judge in the UK recently ruled 3 of Samsung's tablets were 'not as cool' as the iPad whereas Apple still claims Samsung still owes substantial monetary damages to Apple.
Well, personally i think Apple is being too aggressive? I mean take a look at all Apple's lawsuit which protects their products so much. Are they that afraid other companies might triumph over them?

Samsung believes Apple’s patents are too “generic” to be upheld and said it “welcomes” the court’s ruling that confirms the Galaxy Tab 10.1N does not infringe on Apple’s technology, CNET said.

Data from the benchmark suggests that Samsung is going to overclock the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, as the same processor used in s3 runs at 1.4 GHz, but runs at 1.6 Ghz with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
It also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a 1280x720 screen resolution, with the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Will Jellybean be available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2? Unfortunately, the data results have been taken off the website, http://www.glbenchmark.com/index.jsp .

There is something that will keep your attention. AT&T and Verizon are posting record profit margins, while their current iPhone sales have fallen. it was said that many analysts have seen this coming before. The next version of iPhone is going to be out in a few months time hence many buyers are are holding to buy for the new iPhone.
AT&T and Verizon cash will still be making a profit though since the customers are stilling using the old phones and they are paying for the contracts plan for phone which include voice and data plans.

The iPhone includes a great built-in weather application.
The weather application for iOS is making the rounds today
It is a free web application for iOS Safari called Sun.
When saved to your home screen, it appears a native iOS application.
It shows your current location weather, and you can add more locations to flick .
The  users can change the background colors for the different cities they are
tracking weather for. To see a forecast for the week, a user simply pinches their fingers apart.
To change settings, a user needs to pinch their fingers together.
For anyone looking for a simple, free iOS weather app, we highly recommend giving the Sun web

In BEIJING, most people in China use Mobile Phones is a hot devices to get online rather than computers, the government said on Thursday. It is also announced that the number of people who visit the network reach 538 million!
China has two-fifth of the population use web, according to a report from the state-linked China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) which is a lot!

Till this year, people used computer to access internet more than using Mobile phones.
However, mobile phone allows more rural Chinese to go online in some areas that is not covered by fixed-line networks, the report said. Hence, the 52 percent of users who started using Internet this year are from the countryside.

"Mobile phones are a cheaper and more convenient way to access the Internet for (residents in) China's vast rural areas and for the enormous migrant population," said the report.

Increase up to 388 million of people use mobile phones to go online for the first half of this year, up to 9.2 percent from the end of 2011. While 380 million of people used computer.

"Smartphones are more and more powerful and there is a new wave of mobile application innovation," the report said.

"Meanwhile, mobile phone prices continued to drop -- the emergence of smartphones under 1,000 yuan ($157) sharply lowered the threshold for using the devices and encouraged average mobile phone users to become mobile web surfers."

There is an increase of five percent from end of the last year from out of 538 million people online in China.

Weibbos, microblogging services similar to Twitter is going to banned in China by the end of the June. More than half of China’s internet population will be affected.
Beijing often used an online censorship system, the Great Firewall of China, to block sensitive Internet postings.

Nevertheless, web users often use weibos which have become the most popular social networking to rant their anger over corruption, scandals and disasters, or inform people about protests and riots.
This encouraged the Chinese authorities to come out with a plan of tightening the control of the services, including making their users register under their real names.

Hey guys :)

It seems that Europe telcos have been stocking up on nano-sim cards for the up and coming iPhone 5!
Picture from: www.knowyourmobile.com

As you can see in the picture, these new Nano-SIM have the plastic around the metal plating reduced
to a minimum, at 12.3 mm long and 8.8 mm wide, and thus is around 40% smaller than its predecessor,
the micro-SIM used by the iPhone 4/4s. As the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
has approved it recently, it would be used by Apple in their upcoming iPhone 5! ETSI has also stated that
this new Nano-SIM will be backward compatible with the existing SIM card designs.

This, however, makes us wonder why Apple had reduced the size of the current micro-SIM card? I sure
hope it is for additional battery life! What about you? Share your thoughts in the comment sections

facebook-malware-checkpoint.jpg

Facebook have a new security feature which protects the users from getting attack by Malware on the social networking website. Users can make use of the dubbed Malware Checkpoint to prevent Malware from spreading to website as well as removing it easily as well.

User can access two free anti-virus programs, McAfee and Microsoft Security Essential while using the Facebook security features which is a self-enrollment system. With this new checkpoint, it is harder for Malware to attack the Facebook user.

How Checkpoint system works?
If the Facebook user suspect that his/her computer is being infected by Malware, he/she can use the Checkpoint system and it causes Facebook to lock their account temporary until users run either McAfee or Microsoft Essential to get their account unlocked.

This is how you use the anti-virus products:

If you choose McAfee, it will download a small program onto your computer and it will perform a one-time scan of your system, checking for harmful threat. It won’t collapse or interrupt your current security software such as AVG Avast!. McAfee provide you with choice upon deleting harmful threat/file either by automatically or manually after scanning.

If you choose Microsoft Security Essentials, it provides a full anti-virus product for free. After you download and install the software, the software will protect your computer with the latest update to keep your computer safe.

This Malware checkpoint is the latest feature launched in April 2012. The marketplace provides users with free half a year licenses to full versions of security software such as Microsoft, Symantec, etc.

apple-maps-os-x

It is rumored that you may be able to experience Apple's upcoming mapping solution directly just on your MacBooks, be it MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.

As discovered in the codes in the latest iOS 6 beta, citing Intel-based graphics chipset reference, suggests the in-house alternative to Google Maps will occupy nearly all of Apple's product lineup, although it's unclear of what capacity.

It is possible Apple is planning to integrate its very own mapping application with core applications such as 'iPhoto comes to mind' in Mountain Lion. When Apple's new Maps hits the new upcoming iOS 6, the in-house solution will introduce 3D experience, turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic info, and Yelp integration for local search.

What about Apple Maps on Retina display?
